Rachel Quick (violin) - Sinfonia of Birmingham

The Sinfonia of Birmingham is one of the leading chamber orchestras in the West Midlands and, having been based at the CBSO Centre, performs around the region, as well as accompanying local choral societies.

Working with professional conductors, leaders and soloists from the Birmingham area, the Sinfonia of Birmingham aims to provide high quality music for the community - from the community.

The Sinfonia of Birmingham's principal conductor is Michael Seal - see more on the About page.

Join the Sinfonia of Birmingham at its next performance:
On Sunday 26th November 2017 at Ruddock Hall, King Edwards School, Edgbaston.
The concert, conducted by Michael Seal, will start wilh the lighthearted Symphony No. 3 by Sibelius, where folk melody leads to chaos and the eventual triumphant hymn.
Our friend from the CBSO, Zoë Beyers, joins us to perform the beautiful, lyrical Violin Concerto of Barber, ending with brilliant and virtuosic playing.
The concert will finish with Dvořák's Symphony No. 7, which is regarded by some as his greatest symphony.
